this one was a little something special for me. i'd been talking to my editor for a little while over how there are possibly way too many forest in the daytime with sun shining through the trees with mushrooms covers for this series. way too many, like 40.

anyways, i realized they have never been done with no green, that lovely shade of green oh how i love it, but i also love birch trees, and who doesn't love that rich shade of reds and browns and oranges in the fall? when it's cold? at least that explains her nips. so i opted for a fall or birch tree look, ochre happens to be one of my favorite colors too :)
