somehow this is a follow up to my ancient shell dryad....piece.

i am utterly pleased with this piece. but mostly because since i dont draw that often anymore, i often have fears that i can't anymore. it's rough, but it makes me very happy to see.

about 20 minutes into this piece my computer froze, that was fun! i guess i shouldn't have 5 things open in ps on the same screen at once, eh. i'm not sure i got back the face i had, because when i started it again i strugged, but i am happy with the one i have now so i guess it's okay.

i worked on this for about an hour and a half yesterday then about 3-4 hours tonight.

you might notice that i've changed the position of the thigh, it worked as it, but i wanted it to be more accurate (although non of this is perfect by any means)

painting my own sketches helps me improve so much as well, hopefully i can eventually get to the point where i can draw that way instead of having to do i in the paint stage.


and yes, every time i say paint, it means digital paint.

I am no critic so my eyes don't see what most do. But i can say that i absolutely love the digital painting and the body is flawless. great job here. At least from my perspective. fav'ed!

:XD: i'm so happy to see this colored!! my boyfriend was scrolling through the new deviations and saw this and i got really really excited that i had to stop what i was doing and comment on it...he was the first to see it, but he didn't want to comment, even though i told him he should...anyways i absolutely love it colored :D

that area of her thigh, where the leg bends (what exactly is that area called lol) the quality of light there is beautiful..... the locks of hair are very interestingly handled too=] It's amazing the difference color makes in an image. I can look at this for a long time and keep finding things to talk about in it, please keep doing more=]

This is beautiful! Usually a sketch is a rough idea it usually goes through alot of changes in different processes! (Though you must already have known that ^^; ) Either which way I think you did a marvelous job on anatomy =3 *Raises up a 10 card*
