wanted to take a different approach to this than i usually do (overpainted fuzzy pieces of garbage)
this is the second time i've used this method, first time was [link] not because i am looking to mix it up (although the result is a pleasant surprise) i guess if my lines are as clean as this why cover them? but it also only took an hour. there are a few parts that are sloppy, but it was more or less because i felt like doing my own art, but i didn't feel like spending forever + 1 day on this drawing. i dunno, out of all those drawings this was the one i wanted to finish most, but when it came time to having time, i didn't want to anymore. guess i waited too long? i think i'll give the feathered mermaid more time than this and paint it fully. |
