breathe out.

i was laying in bed last night and a thought came to me. i was thinking about how we only really like people who like US. that makes a lot of sense, but of course doesn't go for everybody, then another thought came to me. the people who dont care whether you like them or not. usually, it is not a strong positive trait about having self esteem and not caring what others think about you and being who you are.

most people who dont care who likes them or not are genuinely the type of people that make life hell in one way or another. their pursuits, interests, gains, and taste usually protrude somewhat negatively on somebody else's life. there are a multitude of ways of thinking about this (many of which were keeping me awake last night) but of course as different as everybody is isn't a black and white type of scenario. but of course, generally speaking you really can make sense of so much when you think this way.

thats why arguments and flame wars on the internet go so far so often. people with that type of personality that dont give a shit about what you think of them, on the internet have even less reason to care what you think about them or anything for that matter.

it's a way of thinking that i can hardly wrap my head around, i just dont understand it because i am not that way. when i do something wrong and it bothers somebody, it bothers me. empathy. it's the key word there.

the other types of people most times lack empathy. and a little tidbit for you, psychopaths are also know to show a lack of empathy, that part of their brain malfunctions.

so next time you think about arguing with somebody in the internet that an give a crap less about how you feel, just remember, thats probably a serious physical fault of theirs, and there is nothing you can do to alter it, you will only be causing yourself stress.
